Stacking The Shelves (18) June 2015

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Truthfully after BEA (Book Expo America) there shouldn't be a haul for a while, but I have an excuse, several of these are ARCs sent by publishers, and the rest well I have no excuse as to why I spent money buying books other than I wanted them and I have a huge surplus in the book budget due to so many free books at BEA.  Alright enough chit chat, on to the books.

Purchased
From Goodwill

The Polar Express.  This is a great Christmas Story and when i saw the book brand new for $1.99??!!! Ain't no way i was leaving that behind.

The Witch Who Was Afraid Of Witches  This was $0.99, and I love to collect books about witches, this will be perfect for Samhain (otherwise known as Halloween).

The Wide Window ( A Series of Unfortunate Events 3) I have the first two books and they are autographed.  I never read them when they were coming out, but I read the first one a few years ago and liked it, so I'll continue them, but only if I can find them at library book sales and

Until We Meet Again this story looks good, and at 0.99 even if it isn't I'm not out of much money.  Yeah it wasn't until I was setting up this post that I found out it's part of a series. Hopefully I can read it on it's own, that's how it looked when I picked it up.

The Power of Myth I read this is freshman year college and my book was ruined the year hurricane Irene rolled through, so I'm glad to get a copy back on my shelves for only 0.99. Yeah couldn't really pass it up.

ARCs Received:

Portrait of Celina  it's a Ghost Love Story. I needed no other words to let me know this book belonged in my life. I'm so grateful to the folks over at Capstone/Switch Press for sending this my way.

Becoming Darkness  I was super excited when i was at BEA about this book. I missed the drop they had, so the rep sent it to me and I'm dying to get into it. It doesn't come out until October though so I might have to hold off.

State of Grace another of the books I'm highly anticipating. Switch Press is doing big things this year and I'm so excited to be reading this one.  This is due out in September.

Safe At Last (Slow Burn 3)  To say that I fangirl squealed when this showed up?!! Yeah I'm so excited for this series, Maya is just pumping them out and I'm so happy to be allowed to read them in advance. This is one of my most anticipated books for the year as well!!

Never Said  got this one in the mail unsolicited. however it seems to be right up my alley, so I'm all over it.  they were giving it away at BEA and my sister grabbed a copy because she liked the sound of it. I told her I had it and laughed because she so knows me so well.

E-ARCs

Do Not Disturb  by Stephanie Julian. The cover and the premise made me want it, so clickity click and yay they approved me.

Date and Dash  I read the other books in this series by Susan Hatler so I figured why not see where she goes with this.

Playing With Trouble  the synopsis for this sounded amazing and once again I got sucked into the NetGalley click fest and yaaay they approved me.

The Major's Faux Fiancee'  this is another in the Dukes of War series and I'm actually looking forward to it.

Reckless (Forever 6) I have the entire series and figured why not grab this one as well.  Plus the new covers??!! Girl that man is fiiinnnneee.

Minutes to Kill  I met Melinda at BEA 2015 and got the first book from her and it is signed.  I got approved for the second book while at BEA so I'm excited to read these.

Won

I won a copy of Enticement (The Submissive Series 4) ) by Tara Sue Me from the First Reads Giveaways by goodreads!!!  This is one of my top 15 most anticipated titles for the first half of 2015 and I can't believe I won it!!!

Pre-Orders

Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry

One of my highly anticipated books of 2015. I squealed when I came home from BEA and it was here.  Yass my loves it's gorgeous.

Briar Queen by Katherine Harbour. My MOST anticipated book of the year. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself.  I was so happy when this showed up. It's so pretty and I so don't want to hurt it. I put it on the shelf with my copy of thorn Jack and have just been admiring the pretty!!

And that's it.  I have nothing else, and I'm now going to go drown in the pretties and admire my books, then I'm going to crack some spines and get some serious reading done.

What'd you get this week???  Share in the comments and I'll come over and we can fawn over our books together.  Thanks for stopping by my loves and I'll see you next week, since I'm going to a book event this weekend, I expect to spend some money there as well.
