Stacking The Shelves (24) : A Mix Of All The Things (Part Two)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page! Stacking The Shelves now has a new host and check out that new image!!

So I might be going a bit overboard the past few months. I have a few more trades coming in and then I believe it might be time to go on a buying ban until I clean up the shelves a bit more. In the meantime let's admire the books I got in since last week.

ARCS
I have managed to stay away from NetGalley but every once in a while I will get an invite I can't ignore and these were a few of them:

Brown, White, Black by Nishta J. Mehra. the small synopsis snagged my attention and I had to have it.
"A beautiful and profound memoir about family and motherhood and race and raising a black son in America today."
The next one is A Blade So Black by L. L. McKinney. I fell in love with the cover and when they described it in the email?? Yes, madam gimme that book.
The first time the Nightmares came, it nearly cost Alice her life. Now she's trained to battle monstrous creatures in the dark dream realm known as Wonderland with magic weapons and hardcore fighting skills. Yet even warriors have a curfew.

Life in real-world Atlanta isn't always so simple, as Alice juggles an overprotective mom, a high-maintenance best friend, and a slipping GPA. Keeping the Nightmares at bay is turning into a full-time job. But when Alice's handsome and mysterious mentor is poisoned, she has to find the antidote by venturing deeper into Wonderland than she’s ever gone before. And she'll need to use everything she's learned in both worlds to keep from losing her head . . . literally.

Debut author L.L. McKinney delivers an action-packed twist on an old classic, full of romance and otherworldly intrigue.
Feels Like Summertime by Tammy Faulkner. I've read a few of her books and loved her writing and needed this one in my life as well.  Her Reed Brothers series is absolutely amazing!!

I won't lie the cover is what made me request this one. No idea and don't want any idea of what it's about.  Kiss The Girl by  Tara Sivec
EBOOKS
I borrowed Black Hills by Nora Roberts from the library in ebook form. Really loved reading it that way. (I'm almost done)
PURCHASED
I stopped by the Dollar Tree to snag items for my crafting and I found a few good books:
DIY Temporary Tattoos by Pepper Baldwin, because it looks pretty cool plus I love anything that talks about tattoos.

then I was able to find Stitching Snow and Spinning Starlight by R.C. Lewis which have been on my wishlist since it came out and I didn't get it at my first BEA.

I see this floating around on booktube all the time and it looks awesome so I snagged Hook's Revenge by Heidi Schultz I remember hearing about this at BEA but I never got a copy so when I saw it at the DT I grabbed a copy. If I like it I'll pass it on to my godson.

The Toltec Art of Life And Death by Miguel Ruiz. I grabbed this because my mom loved his other work and Oprah always recommends him so, why not grab it when it's only a dollar??

PAPERBACKSWAP
I have finished all my credits now so there will be fewer of these coming in, however, these are the ones I got before I hit zero credits:
California Demon by Julie Kenner, I'm getting all the ones from her that I have on my wishlists.  Plus it's a soccer mom who is a retired demon hunter. I'm sure hijinks are instore for me

Lord of the Beasts by Susan Krinard. Susan was one of my faves when I was in high school, I'm collecting the ones I have read and rebuilding my library.

Tell Me Something Good by Lynn Emery. I have a few of her books on my shelves and I have loved them so I figured I would get a few more by her.

Tribute by Nora Roberts because Nora no excuses needed

THRIFTBOOKS/BOOKOUTLET
Bookoutlet had a sale, and I had a coupon and these books were like 0.79cents to $4.59, so why not?
I started by snagging a few more books by Julia Quinn, these are all in the Bridgerton Family saga

Then I saw that Jennifer Probst had a few books including one I have read and reviewed already so I grabbed them.
Any Time, Any Place Read my review here

Lexi Blake's Ruthless which is book one in a series.

And because I love when they write as a duo I snagged Seduction in Session by Shayla Black and Lexi Blake
Through to you by Lauren Barnholdt
What Life Throws At You by Julie Cross was 0.79!!! I couldn't pass that up

And that it all for now. I do still have paperbackswap haul to share. What'd you get in your haul this week?? Share in the comments down below and I'll see you next week.

Happy Reading & Haulin' my loves
