Stacking The Shelves (2019) # 5: April

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page! Stacking The Shelves now has a new host and check out that new image!!

Hi my loves, I know I haven't shown up here much this year which really goes to my yearly goals. I'm trying not to haul anything this year but as a treat for doing as well I have been, I thought I would get books.  Because as the meme says book nerds are the only people who reward themselves for finishing a book by buying five more.  LOL

I snagged these from the local library bookstore and I was so excited to find the ones I did.

Young Adults

This is on my list of books from 2018 that I am looking forward to reading, so when I could snag it for $1.50 BRAND SPANKING NEW???!!! You bet your a** I grabbed it.
Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik.

Just Look at this cover! I actually own this in ebook form and wanted to get a copy to go along with the author's other works on my shelf. This just looks amazing.

The Summer Prince by Alaya Dawn Johnson

Romance

I used to love her books way back in the day and I still when in a slump snag a favorite of hers from the shelf to help bust out of it, so I was excited to see this brand new book for 0.25. Yes, you read that right just a quarter.
Darling Jasmine by Beatrice Small

I grabbed the first book in this series a few years ago on clearance at Walmart and I'm feeling like this year is the year for it to be read so I grabbed this book for a quarter, yes again 0.25 whole cents.

Shadowglass by Erica Hayes

Then for the adult literature section of the Blackout bookshelves, I snagged

Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon.
And Ntozake Shange's Sassafrass, Cypress & Indigo

Well, for now, that's what I have to share. What'd you get in your haul this week?? Share in the comments down below and I'll see you next week.

Happy Reading & Haulin' my loves
