Stacking the Shelves: 2017 (September 3)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page! Stacking The Shelves now has a new host and check out that new image!!

Most of the books this week come into our home via the library book sale & Goodwill with one that is an ARC. Since I've been cleaning up my backlog of books I figured I'm allowed 1 new ARC. And then a few pre-orders came in since the books got published this month. And we're off to another great start this week with the following books joining the shelves:

The last book from our thriftbooks order came it and it is:

The Durango Affair by Brenda Jackson

From the library book haul:

The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Alexander McCall Smith

Tears of the Giraffe (book 2) by Alexander McCall Smith

The Kalahari Typing School For Men (Book 4) by Alexander McCall Smith

Dark Witch (Book 1 of the Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy) Nora Roberts

Colonize This!! edited by Daisy Hernandez & Bushra Rehman

God Help the Child by Toni Morrison because duh!!

Stolen by Lucy Christopher this is a booktube read a long, so many people loved this so I wish to read it.

From Goodwill:
Ina May's Guide to Childbirth I have had this on my wishlist for years!! Midwifery is my ultimate goal and I always love reading books about it.  Ina May is a huge influence in the midwifery circles so yes I'm so super excited to have this AND it's brand new!!!

The Millionth Circle by Jean Shinoda Bolen.  This was on my list a few years ago, so when I saw this one I had to have it.

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me by Mindy Kaling.  I started watching the show about Mindy's life and I wanted to read this as well.

My ARC:

First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones
As the 12th books is coming out this month they decided to give us a taste of the world. Now I have already read this and can't wait to share my review next month.  I admit I own the physical copy of this book and I bought it because she had a scythe and skulls on her shoes. LOL

PRE-Orders:
From Amazon kindle I got the following:

Dark Legacy by Christine Feehan. because I'm addicted to the world Christine has built.  Also have completed this one and will have a full review in October.

And that's it.  I got quite a few, many from my old wishlist so I'm extremely happy. I was out looking for the rest of the Roald Dahl collection books that I don't have.  I have 4 out of the 10, hopefully I will find these in the next few weeks and share them here with you.  What did you get this week?? Share in the comments down below.

Happy Haulin' and Happy Reading
