Synopsis:
A sexy paranormal series set in a world where genetically altered Breeds and the humans who created them sometimes come together in the fiercest of passions. After the Feline Breeds' main base is attacked, Tanner desires revenge. So he kidnaps Scheme Tallant-the daughter of a one-time high-ranking member of the Genetics Council. But when Tanner discovers that Scheme herself is a target of her father's ruthless mission, his vengeance takes a back seat to saving the life of the woman he hopes to claim as his mate.
Now this book started off with us getting into the mind of the villain to see his motivations and the reason we even have the story at all. And what a shyt show, how the fudge do you look yourself in the mirror when you are this batshyt crazy?? Who betrays their own child like this?? Because omigawd he's terrible.

It's amazing our main female character came out sane at all if this is her pedigree, because holy shyt he's terrible.  From the start you learn she's a woman worth standing for and then you watching it all unravel and it's just horrible.  Her father never sees why he's culpable of her making her moves against him.  All his terrible decisions, led her to make plans that move counterproductive to his and follow in her mother's footsteps.  Unknown to others that she's not his favorite person Tanner kidnaps Scheme with the idea that he would be hurting her father, and using her against him.

As the story unfolds we learn even more why her father is a terrible human being and deserves to die slowly, and Scheme is left wondering where she fits if the man who is her father is so terrible and her place isn't assured amongst the Breeds because of who Tanner is.  As always Jonas has a plot up his sleeve that he isn't sharing with anyone * I wonder if hie realizes his plans would go better if people were allowed in on the planning??*  Of course he's got his own schemes going, Tanner's plans are gong his way and there are way to many players on the field.

As the different plans come together  and the different truths are unveiled, so many different lives are changed and once again the plot thickens and expands as does the world.  Each book gets better with the information we are learning about the Genetics Council's plans and their plots to harm the Breeds, the traitors amongst them, the different lives being affected and of course watching Tanner learn how to be a mate.  I loved the exploration of how does one truly know their mate. Is it just an instinct or does emotion play into it.  Unlike so many others the mating doesn't come on first and that lulls them into a false sense of being OK and then it all unravels from their.

I loved the action and how everything went don, omigosh seeing that character and their development and knowing what a badass they will be eventually, ugh I can't wait. I'm so excited to see the world that's coming.

Once again the tension kept me hooked, the truths coming out made me want to turn the pages and find out what was going to happen next. How everyone would react to the information and of course how it would advance the story. We got some of our favorite friends coming in for visits, we see the world of the Breeds as it expands and they grow more as people and nut just survivors.

And of course for the first time in a while we get some seriously kinky fun from Cabal and Tanner. I can't wait to see ho everything unfolds and where this is going because this would be awesome.  Ugh I can't wait to see Jonas's fall, because it's going to be awesome!!

Happy Reading my loves,
