2015 Dewey 24 Hour Read-a thon Sign Up Post & TBR: April 25th,

What is Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-thon? For 24 hours, we read books, post to our blogs, Twitters, Tumblrs, Goodreads and MORE about our reading, and visit other readers’ homes online. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day. It happens twice a year, in April and in October.
It was created by the beloved Dewey (her blog has since been taken down, so the link won’t work). The first one was held in October 2007. Dewey died in late 2008. We’re still saddened by her absence, but the show must go on. The read-a-thon was renamed to honor its founder in 2009.
Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-thon is hosted by Heather and Andi of The Estella Society, with help from volunteers.
More on the read-a-thon’s history.

Every year I say I'm going to participate and every year I forget, last year I did it and I loved how well it went so this year I'm signing up again. I work that weekend so I'm not going to be able to do too many updates, other than on twitter @AishaOaktree. Make sure to follow me there to see my progress and for me to help cheer you on.

Because I know I work that weekend, I'm going to only pick a few small books:

I have this entire trilogy and they are each under 200 pages, so I know I can get through 1 book in an hour, I'll be able to (hopefully I like them, because this is my first time with this author) And if I manage to get through those then I would love to tackle:

They aren't part of a series and I just want to check her writing out.  She's won a few awards, which means she's really doing something in these books so..time to find out what's up with these books.

Are you participating?? What's on your list?? Make sure to swing by Dewey's blog to learn about the sign up times.
Good Luck with what you're reading
